The Brothers

Meet the Fanucci brothers....there are a lot of them, this is Luigi, Mario and Toto....the rest are off visiting relatives...maybe one will come visit you soon!! They are a jolly lot, they can sweeten a dish or give it just the right taste it needs to be the best of dishes! Yes, they come jam packed with flavor.....if you listen really closely in the dead of night they sing....yep you can hear them sing...O Sole Mio.... one of their favs!

the big hunt!

the kids were excited for the Easter egg hunt at Nana's....they filled their baskets and then I guess Ian and Grandpa were all tuckered out!! But Gabe, Addy and Callie were enjoying a movie and their candy!! I hope next year we can have all the grandkids come up for it!!

As everyone knows sometimes I forget things....no laughing from the peanut gallery!! I know that Vana had a b'day on the 7th.....Solae' and Eric had a reception in Wheatland, WY. and it was Erics b'day on the 16th...welcome to the family Eric! Then what? wow I'm struggling, that's what I get for putting this off...Ok so everyone knows I love to take pictures welllll I found this picture of Vana's b'day and I remembered that I asked Ivie to make this cake for Vana, I had seen it in a magazine and it was lovely and she did a good job on it! This is why I take pictures!

Inspirational

I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking the kids to scout camp. I want there to be a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived.

I love this quote it shows what life is really all about! I know I've had my share of sticky hands touching me, kids piled in the our favorite van....old blue...may he rest in peace!! But really I wouldn't have it any other way...some peoples eyes get big when I say we have 10 kids but I would not send anyone of them back. They make me laugh, cry, and ok I will admit even wanting to pull my hair out sometimes but hay I'm growing up...I'm more patient now and I love to see what life brings their way, how they are raising their children and believe it or not they still teach me a lot and make laugh and yes even make me cry cos I love them little buggers!!

Salt Lake Reception

The day before the wedding and reception we decorated the church. Dougie and Ivie brought the decorations from Roosevelt, we sure appreciate them for all they did. Ivie made the sign in book for them and it came out so beautiful! She spent lots of hours working on it.
Dad and I picked up my brother Leo and his wife Ellen from their hotel, they had just flown in that morning....we all met at the church, decorated and then Leo and Ellen took us all out to Marie Calenders for dinner. It was so much fun to all be together....
The reception went well, Ammon caught the garter and Hiedi (Shans sister in law) caught the bouquet....Farrari's friend Laralynn was a big help!
